LinkedIn has launched a new app called LinkedIn Contacts which is developed with the aim of providing better connection to people looking for professional connections. This app helps them to stay in touch with their current and ex-colleagues. You can also look for the last conversation that you had with a particular person.
This app collects all your contacts from your address book, calendars and e-mail accounts and brings them together by using your LinkedIn network and displays them directly on your contact’s profile. It notifies you about the job changes of people in your network and also about their birthdays. In addition to this, you can also set remainders for any particular person and add notes about them.
You can use this app on web using Linkedin.com or it can be used as stand alone app on iPhone. LinkedIn also mentioned that this app will be available to a few users in United States through invitation before its global release.
